The Serenity is just begging to get out of the cold.
We planned to depart around 8AM, we left at 8:30.
I had hoped that we could get out of the North Country without covering everything in road slime and salt, but we were not so lucky. When we left it was snowing, so we took I87 south almost to Albany before cutting over to I90 heading west. By the time we passed Syracuse, the snow had stopped and we could see green grass.....surprisingly.
Even with the messy roads, it was a pretty easy driving day of about 470 miles to a Cracker Barrel in Erie, PA. We had a nice dinner at CB and returned to the Serenity and lit the furnace, it will be in the teens tonight.
Tomorrow, we are going to swing through Canton, OH and check out the NFL Hall of Fame before visiting friends in Mansfield, OH.

All in all a pretty quiet driving day; and the snow is gone! We haven’t filled the water tank yet so will eat inside…..easier.
ReplyDeleteMake sure to check out the section on the Viking’s Super Bowl highlights. I think it’s in a broom closet somewhere.
ReplyDeleteTom, somehow I missed that section...but I seem to recall a section with the Vikings and Bills highlighting that they are tied for the the most appearances without a win in the Super Bowl.
DeletePoor Ed, what am I going to do without June?
